There are three progressive Award levels (Bronze, Silver and Gold) and there is a wide range of activities offering endless possibilities to anyone wanting to start their DofE journey.

Millions of young people in the UK have already taken part in the world’s leading youth achievement award – pushing personal boundaries, gaining new skills and enhancing their CVs and university applications.

ACS MAGFA Approved Activity Provider

Approved Activity Providers (AAPs) are organisations, whose sectional opportunities have been approved by the DofE, as meeting their sectional conditions and can count towards the achievement of a DofE Award.  Approved Activity Providers are able to provide Assessors to sign off the section.

We at ACS MAGFA offer 2 pathways towards achieving your DofE physical requirments.

If you choose the Martial Arts route, you'll get to learn a useful life skill and discipline coupled with some self defence training we also give you. And, if you decide you really like it you can become a fully fledged member and carry on training with us.

Boxercise is a fitness related activity that uses Boxing skills. There is no rank progression like you'd find with martial arts but the basic skills we teach you will transfer nicely to a boxing gym should you ever decide to take up 'real boxing' in the future.

We offer both 3 and 6 month programmes for both activies.

You can confidently use AAPS not just us,  but please remember that it is your Licensed Organisation, that has the final say on the suitability of any AAP programme in terms of health and safety requirements and of course the DofE can give no assurances as to the financial stability of an AAP.
